Its bitterly cold and overcast outside today, and thinking of making French Onion Soup for dinner. Soup, a nice glass of Belgravia Syrah and some sourdough will be a perfect start to the weekend. I love that this soup is so easy to make and comforting. I know there are hundreds of recipe’s out there, some take hours and hours! I’m hoping to update an old dresser this weekend by painting it, so hopefully it doesn’t rain. What are your plans for the weekend?

Ha! I just started making soup too – Mulligatawny – whatever the hell that means. Looks like it’s just a fancy way of saying chicken soup with a bit of curry paste. Hope the French onion tastes great.
