I’ve had a bit of girl/creative crush on Tamara Maynes for a couple of years now, my sister Georgie use to work for her in Bowral one day a week. I have always loved Tamara’s ethos on handmade and using ‘old-world’ skills – which we also shared with our business, Littlelki Boutique. It seems the past few years, the trend for ‘handmade’ and ‘bespoke’ crafts are growing and growing – so modern craft lovers rejoice!
Anyway, my heart melted this morning when I (quickly) opened up my daily news for The Design Files and saw this DIY project and interview – combining two of my crushes – neon and kraft. Don’t you think that adding something handmade or unique to your interiors, is the best way to personlise the space? I think it really adds warmth and charm and cannot wait to try out the ‘quilt lights’ this weekend.
